PEC MCA Admission 2012

Applications are invited by Pondicherry Engineering College (PEC), Puducherry for admission to Master of Computer Application (MCA) program for the commencing session 2012-13.

Eligibility Criteria for PEC, Puducherry:

• The candidate should have completed the Bachelor’s degree in Computer Applications / Computer Science/Information Technology or Bachelor’s degree in Commerce /Corporate Secretary-ship / Economics/ Business Administration with Mathematics / Business Mathematics / Statistics / Computer Applications as one of the subjects (or) Bachelor’s Degree in Science with Mathematics/Statistics as one of the subjects with a minimum of 50% marks (45% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category).
• Candidates who have passed qualifying examinations and who are awaiting Results are also eligible.

How to Apply for PEC, Puducherry:

• Application forms and  information brochure can be obtained from Office of PEC Credit Society, Pondicherry Engineering College, Puducherry-605014, in person on payment of Rs. 1030/- [Rs. 530/- for SC / ST candidates].
• Application forms can also be obtained by post by sending a request to ‘The Convenor, CENTAC-PG,MCA&MBA Pondicherry Engineering College, Puducherry-605014’, along with two self-addressed slips (neatly typed or hand written) and a crossed demand draft for Rs.1065/-(Rs.1000/- towards the cost of application and Rs.65/- for postage)  [Rs.565/- for SC / ST candidates. (Rs.500/- towards the cost of application and Rs.65/- for postage)], drawn in favor of ‘The Convenor, CENTAC-PG, MCA & MBA’ payable at Puducherry.
• The application form can also be downloaded from their official website – www.pec.edu
• Filled-in application forms along with all necessary enclosures should be sent in the prescribed envelope to ‘The Convenor, Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC-PG MCA & MBA), Pondicherry Engineering College, Puducherry – 605 014’ by July 16, 2012 at the latest.

Selection Procedure for PEC, Puducherry:

The selection of the candidates will be based on their performance in the entrance test – CENTAC MCA-CET 2012 which will be conducted by the Centralised Admission Committee.
