National Institute of Technology, NIT Silchar, has issued notification against recruitment of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor Vacancies under various disciplines. Eligible candidates may apply through prescribed application format on or before 30-07-2012. NIT Silchar Vacancy Details:

Total Number of Vacancies: 70

Names of Posts:

1. Professor: 10 posts
2. Associate Professor: 21 posts
3. Assistant Professor: 39 posts

Age Limit: Candidate age must be below 30 years for Asst Professor (on contract) post and 35 years for Asst Professor post.

Educational Qualification: Candidate must possess M.Tech for Asst Professor (on contract) post and Ph.D for all other remaining posts.

Application Fee Details: Candidates need to pay Rs. 300/- (for General & OBC) and Rs. 150/- (for SC/ST/PWD) in the form of Demand Draft in favour of Director, NIT, Silchar.

Selection Process: Selections will be made on the basis of performance in Interview.

How to Apply: Candidates need to take print out of application form available in the notification, attach photograph, attest signature, and send it along with demand draft to the following address, Director, NIT, Silchar National Institute of Technology, Silchar-788 010 (Assam), on or before 30-07-2012.
